Today was mighty excellent! Let me tell you about it...
My alarm clock woke me up at 9, but I forgot the reason for being up so early, so I fell back asleep. Then it hit me in a dream... SPIDERMAN!!! I was running late, so I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and made breakfast.
Suprisingly it only took me half an hour to walk to Donna's. I think it was the bagel I ate.
From there we walked to the mall to take the bus. Her brother came with us. He looked like a 6 year old, but is actually 13!!! I was so shocked. I was bigger than he is now when I was his age.
Everyone else got a drive, but the bus ride there was actually an adventure all on its own. We ended up waiting at the wrong bus stop, but thanks to Donna, we were saved. We ended up asking the same bus driver for help... When we finally get near the theatres, we ended up hypnotized by some fat lady and followed her to a dead end. It was so sad...
We get to the theatre and meet up with Ashmita, Francine and Hannah. Apparently with every purchase of 2 tickets you get a free CD. I didn't get one, but Donna did and she refused to give it to me. T'was sad. I stole it from her, but her brother and her tag-teamed against me and won. Grr...
Movie was really good. I'm planning to go see it again without a doubt! It was supposed to be darker than the first movie, but there was a lot comic relief, so if my mouth wasn't open in awe, I was laughing.
We took the bus back to the mall and I saw John (kid from my business class). Haven't seen him in a while and had a short conversation with him. *sigh* We had to follow him, since we didn't know exactly where we were going...
Finally made it to the mall and loitered there for a while. Donna left us at this point. Ashmita and Hannah were planning on make shirts, and so am I (I EAT GLUE), so we headed to Zellers. We got distracted by skateboards and spent time playing with them in the aisle. Then some guy walks by, falls on the wet floor! I had to bite my tongue to keep myself from laughing. He was so pissed! I hope he gets some kind of bonus from Zellers since he hit his head... We made plans to learn to skate by the end of the summer, so we walked to Toys 'r Us. Really nasty things happened on the walk there... *shudders* Thanks to impulse shopping, we left with a skateboard. They made me hold it and I felt like a skater since I dressed like one today. We went into Value Village and I found a way cool Superman and Batman shirt, but I didn't have enough money. I felt extremely poor... Who seriously can't afford VV?!?!?! Then we headed to some factory outlet and watched Dumb and Dumberer and Lilo and Stitch at the same time. There were couches so we spent a while there. I was on the skateboard, since it was carpeted in there. Then someone from the store saw us and started to walk toward us. We knew we were going to get kicked out, so we practically ran out of the store. Then we headed back to Ashmita's. Played on the trampoline for a bit and then ouija-ed and then attempted to skateboard. Haha we suck royally, but I never actually wiped out. I haven't been on in a while and it's like I never knew how to skate.
We were outside skateboarding, biking, and roller blading till 9. I felt like I was little again. Haven't played outside like that in years...
Everyone had their own special way of skateboarding. Ashmita had this disco technique. I apparently looked like a surfer, and Francine looks like a robot. Then me and Francine made up a song with a dance for it. They also said I reminded them of the 'Complicated' video by Avril, so we re-enacted it. With singing too!
We ate pizza and then left. Got home at around 10:30.
